In this week's episode of The Flash Podcast, AndyTatianaBreeze, and Lacy got together to review the two issues of Crisis on Infinite Earths: Paragons Rising, the tie-in comic to the 5-part Arrowverse crossover. Written by Marv Wolfman (who wrote the original Crisis comic!) and Arrowverse creator Marc Guggenheim, the two issues "Paragon Rising" and "Infinite Luthors" tell multiple stories during the game-changing crossover featuring additional CW characters across the Multiverse.

Do the stories actually make sense and tie-in with what was seen on TV with the 5-hour event? Despite being said to be canon with the 5-part event, do the two issues fit in with what the characters went through on-screen? Find out why the hosts had mixed thoughts on the two stories and more on this week's The Flash Podcast - stay till the end, there is a post-credit scene!

"Crisis on Infinite Earths" leaps from The CW's "Arrowverse" to this new collection starring fan-favorite character Felicity Smoak in a brand-new, Multiverse-spanning epic as she tries to locate the keys to the Anti-Monitor's plan! Plus, Lex Luthor teams up with a council of Luthors, but can they all play nicely to save the Multiverse? In this week's episode of The Flash Podcast, AndyTatianaBreeze, and Lacy got together to cover the world of The Flash, but this time on the big screen for the first time in a good while. The Flash film has been delayed multiple times, but things are beginning to (hopefully) move in the right direction in getting it into production. Michael Keaton's Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman from the Tim Burton films is set to join the upcoming DC picture (reportedly doing its own version of Flashpoint) as an older Caped Crusader when Barry creates a new reality after going back in time. But apparently, Keaton's version of the iconic DC hero might be sticking around as he is said to appear in multiple DCEU films!

What does this mean? Is this a good move for the film adaptation of the Barry Allen-centric movie? Will the DCEU begin utilizing the Multiverse concept now that the Arrowverse has solidified all of DC's past, present, and future live-action properties through Crisis On Infinite Earths? In addition to that, the gang discusses their hopes and thoughts on what the Arrowverse might do for the Home Con edition of San Diego Comic-Con, but particularly the DC FanDome event in August! That and more on this week's episode of The Flash Podcast!

With The Flash season 6 having come to an early end, given the Coronavirus pandemic, viewers will have to wait patiently for the fastest man alive as season 7 will be premiering on The CW in January 2021. Following the 19th episode, which served as the season finale, what’s next for Eva McCulloch? What happened to Iris West-Allen at the very end inside the Mirrorverse? How will Barry stop Eva from getting away with her lies with barely any speed left? Those are just a handful of questions that will be answered next year.

The Flash Podcast recently had the honor of chatting with the show’s new showrunner Eric Wallace in a post-mortem interview following the big finale this week. Throughout our chat with Wallace, the EP talks about how they’ll deal with the three unproduced episodes from this season when production eventually does resume this year. He also discusses what he hopes to do with the seventh season as season 6 got to experiment with new storytelling methods compared to past seasons.

In addition to that, Wallace offers some exciting teases for new DC characters in season 7, what’s going on with Godspeed and Reverse-Flash as well as how Iris and her marriage with Barry will grow and strengthen after her journey in the Mirrorverse. That and so much more – major thanks to Mr. Wallace and WBTV for the opportunity!

On this week’s episode of The Flash Podcast Season 5.5, Andy, Tatianaand Breeze are joined by Mike Cecchini, Editor-in-Chief of Den of Geek, to continue their 3-part Crisis on Infinite Earths series leading up to the season six premiere of The Flash. In the second installment, they review the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic book by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez. Throughout the review, the gang breaks down the book from the characters to the overall story.

What did they think of the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor as the two central figures of the book? What were their biggest favorite moments in the storyline? With Wolfman wanting to use this story to make comics more friendly to new readers, did the story accomplish that? Last but not least, is this the right time for the Arrowverse to adapt this iconic storyline for this year's crossover? In addition to the review, they breakdown the latest crossover news, including Smallville's Tom Welling and Erica Durance reprising their roles as Clark Kent and Lois Lane! That and more on this week's episode of The Flash Podcast!

"This is the story that changed the DC Universe forever. A mysterious being known as the Anti-Monitor has begun a crusade across time to bring about the end of all existence. As alternate earths are systematically destroyed, the Monitor quickly assembles a team of super-heroes from across time and space to battle his counterpart and stop the destruction. DC's greatest heroes including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Aquaman, assemble to stop the menace, but as they watch both the Flash and Supergirl die in battle, they begin to wonder if even all of the heroes in the world can stop this destructive force."

The Arrowverse has come a long way and it started all the way back in 2012 when Arrow premiered on The CW. Following the story of Green Arrow (Stephen Amell,) the DC drama was the first step in creating the large DC TV Universe that exists today on The CW. But all good things must eventually come to an end and that is the case for Arrow as their eighth upcoming season will be the show's final one.

San Diego Comic-Con 2019 was an emotional one for the Arrowverse as Arrow took part of its final panel, previewing the final season. The Flash Podcast had the chance of chatting with the cast and producers in the Arrow press room, including Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, Juliana Harkavy, David Ramsey, Rick Gonzalez along with producer/director James Bamford and executive producer Marc Guggenheim. Things that they talk about include:

-The pressure and excitement of getting to be part of adapting Crisis on Infinite Earths as Arrow heads out.

-What is coming up for the two Black Canaries, Laurel Lance, and Dinah Drake?

-Whether or not John Diggle will become Green Lantern after all the big teases and Easter eggs.

-If the actors had any personal bucket lists for their characters when going into the final season.

-The challenges of crafting the final season around Crisis on Infinite Earths.

The final season of Arrow premieres on Tuesday, October 15 at 9/8c.
